Welcome to my blog page. I will update the blog weekly usually on a Sunday evening, with events occuring during my week. The newest entry will be at the top. MARCH March 8, 2009 I've mentioned in a few earlier entries I have been working on a couple of websites. Well, I have finished them both. One, my team training site, is more a private team site so I won't share the address here. But, you can visit the second site which is a public site at www.RollWithTheTimes.com I hope you like it. Chat soon, Have a Great Day! Nic March 1, 2009 It is hard to believe we are now into the third month of 2009. Where has that time gone. It seems just like yesterday that it was Christmas time. March in Australia means we are now in Autumn so it should start to cool down soon. This last week I have been putting the finishing touches to my website I'm building for my team so I can centralize all the training in one convenient location. I've also been working on a lead generation website that I will use and then my team will also be able to use it as well. More about this site in the future. Enjoy the change of season, where ever you are. Chat soon, Have a Great Day! Nic FEBRUARY February 22, 2009 This week I decided to post an email I received a couple of days ago, which is doing the rounds again. Because it was sent as an email I’m not sure of the original author. I hope you enjoy as it can relate to anything and everything… IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED - QUIT! Chat soon, Have a Great Day! Nic February 15, 2009 This is a very short entry this week as I have spent the majority of the week building a new training website for my team. I still have a few finishing touches to go before I launch the site. Chat soon, Have a Great Day! Nic February 8, 2009 I've been asked a few times what I do each week. So, in this week's entry I thought I will share what I do in my average week. Each weekday morning I wake up when I wake up. I don’t have an alarm. I then try and spend the first couple of hours exercising. Monday, Wednesday and Friday are my weights days, where I do weights for about an hour and then I do a cardio session as well which is walking and running around the suburb I live in. All up the walk I do is about 6 kilometres which is approximately 3.8 miles and takes me about an hour. I then do this walk on Tuesday and Thursday as well. After showering and breakfast my ‘work’ day begins. I always catch up on emails and any requests for further information first thing in my office. Then if I don’t have any appointments which potential business partners or customers I’ll log into Facebook to catch up with some friends from around the world. If I do have appointments, which usually take place in coffee shops or cafes I’ll go to those and enjoy meeting the people who may be interested in finding out about my business. Then I usually spend the rest of the day doing things I enjoy doing, like going to see a movie, catching up with friends who may have a day off from work. On the days I don’t have appointments I may drive to Queensland’s famous Gold Coast which is 75 minutes drive south of me or drive 60 minutes to The Sunshine Coast which is north to spend the day at the beach or in the mountains behind either coast. I sometimes also go into the city to do some shopping and have lunch with friends who work ithere. I also like going and looking at beautiful homes that are similar to those I would like to own. I love meeting new people so each week I try to make as many new friends as I can. Because of Network Marketing I’m able to do that anywhere. It could at the local shopping centre, the city, or even the beach. I only mention my business and products to anyone I meet if they ask me what I do or if after chatting to them I feel my products or business could be of benefit to the person with whom I’m speaking. I’m also available any day any members of my team need any help with building their own businesses. Although Network Marketing requires work, I don’t look at it as a chore. To me it is a lot of fun, meeting new people and being in a position where I may be able to help them start their own home based businesses. So that is a very brief glimpse of my average week. If you have any questions, or are interested in finding out more information, please feel free to leave a comment or contact me and I will gladly answer any questions you may have. Chat soon, Have a Great Day! Nic February 1, 2009 We are now into the second month of 2009. I hope January was a fun and successful month for you all. Sunday is normally a day I like to spend reading if I have no other plans. So, today I’d like to share some titles of books I have found very helpful for building my network marketing business. I’ll list both the title and author. Chat soon, Have a Great Day! Nic JANUARY January 25, 2009 Wow, it's hard to believe today is the last Sunday in January. Where has this month gone? This week has been a very productive week. I spent a few days updating and changing my website. I've just finished watching Roger Federer win his 4th round match at the Australian Open Tennis against Tomas Berdych.Federer came back from 2 sets to love down to win in the 5th set. Only the 4th time in his career he has done that. What I found interesting though is the mental strength this great champion displayed. It appeared that he firmly believed he would win, despite being so far behind. I find it so inspirational to see great sporting champions with this believe, and it is something I try to do in my business. One way I have been working on to help me believe I will achieve my goals is by setting myself smaller goals that go to help achieve the bigger one. Once I achieve the smaller goal I'm one step closer to believing I will achieve my bigger goal. It makes me think of Henry Ford's famous quote, "If you believe you can, you can. If you believe you can't, you can't. Either way, you're right! Tomorrow, January 26, is Australia Day. So to all my friends in Australia - Happy Australia Day - have fun!! ![]() Chat soon, Have a Great Day! Nic January 18, 2009 My first proper week back building my business. One of my goals to help build my business this year is to make at least 30 exposures of my business and products per day. Then, each day I try to make more exposures than the previous day. Here is a quick tally for this week - Monday - 30 Tuesday - 43 Wednesday - 57 Thursday - 55 Friday - 68 Saturday - 65 Sunday - 57 As you can see I didn't beat my previous day every day, but I'm happy as long as I make at least 30 exposures every day. Friday night I was down on the famous Gold Coast, keeping stats for The Gold Coast Blaze basketball team, who play in Australia's National Basketball League (NBL). This is my second season doing stats in the NBL and this was my first game in '09. Then today, I kept stats for The Logan Thunder basketball team, who play in Australia's Women's National Basketball League (WNBL). This is my first season keeping stats for the WNBL and it is also the Logan Thunder's first WNBL season as well. Both the NBL & WNBL seasons run from September - March each year. Chat soon, Have a Great Day! Nic January 11, 2009 This week I started my fitness campaign in earnest. I do weights 3 days a week and cardio 5 days. My cardio sessions are a 6 km (4mile) walk around my neighbourhood. It takes me about an hour. One of my friends joins me one day a week on my walk. This always helps pass the time quicker as we are chatting the whole time catching up on the week that was. Another relaxing but busy week this week. On Monday, I spent the day at the Sunshine Coast, about an hour's drive north of Brisbane, with a yet another friend. We went to Mooloolaba, and all the way up to the more famous Noosa. It was a fantasic day, except I found myself a little sunburned. ![]() The rest of the week I did some planning for the year ahead. Tuesday afternoon, as with every Tuesday afternoon, I had my weekly team call with other members of the team I am part of. These calls are always fun and educational. It is always great catching up with friends in different parts of the world in these hour long calls. Saturday night, along with 14 of my closest friends, I went out to dinner at a local Italian restaurant to celebrate my birthday which is today :) It was fantastic catching up with everyone again, some of whom I haven't seen in a couple of years. Today, I had a family birthday lunch with my mother, brother and sister-inlaw, aunt and uncle who all came over for lunch. Chat soon, Have a Great Day! Nic January 4, 2009 Happy 2009 to you all. I hope everyone had a safe and fun festive season. I have decided to take this week and next week off to have a rest and catch up with and spend some time with friends. Friday I had lunch with a very good friend at a local coffee shop. It was great catching up with her to see how her Christmas and New Years went. Today I went to watch the first day of the first ever Brisbane International Tennis tournament held at the new built Pat Rafter Arena. I went with one of my best friends, Glenn, and his father who are both avid tennis fans.
![]() Glenn and I were both hoping to see Ana Invanovic play. Unfortunately for us, she is playing her first round match tomorrow evening. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the matches we were able to see. Chat soon, Have a Great Day! Nic Copyright
