Welcome to my personal site about home based business.

On the following pages you will learn about me and my preferred business model; why I chose this particular business model; the company I have aligned myself with; and most importantly, how I can help you get started in your own home based business.

A bit of background information about myself to begin with.

I’m 34 years old and was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. I emigrated to Australia with my family as a child in 1980, and have lived in Brisbane, Queensland to this day.

Since graduating from high school in 1991, I have only had two jobs working for other organisations: the first was with a local printing company in a Customer Service role; and the other was as a Basketball Development Officer with a professional basketball club.

Apart from these two jobs, I have been self employed since I was 19.

I have started SIX separate businesses in that time - five of which have been completely home based.

The very first business I started had its office based in a spare room of the family home, and the actual running of the business activities were conducted at different locations around Brisbane.

The businesses I have owned and operated included:

• A sports coaching business conducting before and after school sports clinics.
• A home based publishing business, publishing sports coaching manuals.
• A home based publishing business, publishing business information products for people interested in starting their own businesses.
• An online bookshop, selling second hand books.
• A distributorship marketing and selling nutritional supplements.
• And my current business, which you can find out about on the following pages.

Working for myself has given me the freedom, challenges and rewards associated with home based businesses - things which are simply not available in a "9-5" type office job.
